Interview with bassist Mike Boone Part IV
In this last part, Mike Boone talks about the jam sessions around Philly in the 1980s and early 90s, jazz camps at Cheyney University, his favorite teachers, and his love of mentoring. Towards the end of the interview, he lovingly discusses his son, drummer Mekhi Boone and one of his best friends, the late pianist Sid Simmons.
